Hello

That's a pretty tall rad, and your res is pretty low. Couple things you could try.

I would fill the loop through that port on the top of your rad. That would help you fill the loop a bit more.

Make sure you also tilt your rig around a bit to allow the bubbles to work through the system.

Also, your system is basically pressurized the way you have it set up now. Very hard to get the air out. There is no where for the air to escape while you fill the loop with water.

Might help to put the res higher, or to get a bigger res as a long term solution.

Easiest way:

1) Turn off your pump.

2) Cap the top of your res.

3) Use a small funnel to slowly pour fluid into the fill point at the top of the system (fill point on top of highest rad) until there is no bubble there. WHILE YOUR PUMP IS OFF.

4) Cap the fill point tight.

5) Run the pump.

6) Repeat until happy.

and if you have an adjustable pump, reduce the speed

This + occasionally move your system around to help dislodge and air pockets.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

The ugly froth was due to the pump whisking air into the mixture, which happens when the res drains down to the level of the pump blades under load. Once you fill a system enough to eliminate that phenomenon, the system stabilizes and removing unwanted air becomes much easier.

Looks good. thumb.gif
