Best Audio Software

Thread Starter
I'm after everyone opinions on the best audio software. I now have some new kit on the way and want to get my music collection sorted. I'm after something for Windows and something to play on my phone which is Android.

I'm after features such as:
- FLAC Playback
- Customisation
- Ripping
- Visualisation ( Sorry sounds stupid but I enjoy it on in the background.)
- Tagging
- Sorting.

I understand the android options wont have as good features. I have just downloaded AIMP but open to peoples opinions and why they prefer that paticular software.

Thanks smile.gifthumb.gif

Just to be correct, you're looking for a combination of music management software and a music player. While there are many of those Foobar, Media Monkey and JRiver come to mind. You can still get WinAmp and there's always Windows Media Player.

Personally, I use JPlay (the best player in my opinion and I've tried them all) andjust use Windows Explorer for finding songs in the folder where I store my music.

Note that Windows Explorer has five built in templates (one specifically for music) that can be set up to display pretty much anything you want when it encounters music.
