What do you guys recommend? I 'm leaning over towards the 1600x. Let know what you guys think! I plan on combining one of these with the X370 Titanium by MSI.

If you plan on overclocking or tweaking, 1600 for sure, must more cost effective.

I went 1600x simply to not have a cooler I'd never use and have to toss.

1600 being out of stock at Amazon didn't help matters.

Answer depends how concerned you are over that $20

1600X.

Curious why you're buying the most expensive motherboard for a Ryzen 5. It isn't even close to a good board for its pricepoint, it's a $140-160 board with a paintjob and an overkill heatsink. Even if it did have the quality of Intel Z97/Z170/Z270/X99 Xpower (hint:it doesn't whatsoever) it's a $300 mobo for a $220 CPU.
You'd be better off with a $330 Ryzen 7 and a $150 x370 Prime Pro , $200 x370 Taichi , $180 Biostar GT7, or $170-200 x370 Gigabyte Gaming 5 / K7 board.
