Case Fans Do not work [NZXT S340]

Thread Starter
I noticed my GPU goes above 80*C while gaming.

I am not sure if this has to do with my default precision fan curve or my case not having the rear and top fans working (I have not checked to see if the intake is working as well).

I do not want to purchase a Grid 2 but if need be I will.

Any ideas will be great, my case fans are connected to my motherboard.

Do you know why your exhaust fan isn't working? I'm sure that is contributing to the heat. You should be able to enter the bios and adjust the fans or at least set them to default. If they still don't spin, try them on a different fan header. If they still don't work you either have a motherboard issue of some worn out fans. Fans are cheap, hopefully it is that. If you have two intake fans that are working, move one to the rear temporarily for exhaust.

For the gpu, set the fan profile to default or manually crank it up to see if that helps.

I appreciate you helping me out, sometimes it sucks being alone with no help.

I troubleshooted and found out it was two burnt out exhaust fans (top and rear).

Are there any other fans you can recommend that will help move static pressure better than the stock fans?

(Since I have a window I would prefer all black fans and or all white - or something black and white)

Anyone have any fan recommendations for the NZXT S340 for exhausts?

How are these?

You can either just get some $10 fans online and replace them every year or two. You can get some cheap cooler master fans that are alright.

The other option is to buy some premium fans in the $20 - $30 range and they will last years and be quieter. I personally like Noctua. Many will say they are over hyped, to which I don't care. They are good, quiet, and last an insane long time.

Can someone recommend me two exhaust fans (my stock ones went out)

I need a top 140mm fan and a rear 120mm fan.

Furthermore, I need a fan controller - I am not sure which one to go with. BOth my SSD slots are taken up (hue+ and a samsung evo).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How is this for a 120mm option: Scythe GlideStream PWM?

How is this for a 140mm option: ractal Design Venturi HF-14 Black Case
