Using pure silver usb cables also helps, and a picture of jesus on top of your pc is good too

Pretty sure Intel CPUs do have lower frame times/latencies whatever.

Yes, better intel CPUs are better. But the equivalent ryzen CPU, i.e. the one with the same throughput, has less frametime variation for some reason, which means lower overall framerate-induced latency. You could see this soon after the ryzen launch with AMD fanboys shoving "better minimum framerates" in Intel fanboys' faces: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/5xg8dk/the_real_value_of_ryzen_and_the_min_fps_that/

I see, my bad. I personally wouldn't trust 1 dubious source on YouTube when reputable and long-lasting sites like Anandtech, TechReport, PcPerspective etc. have found the exact opposite results comparing a 1800X to a 7700K.

It's not just "1 dubious source on youtube", that's just one particular source I happened to link.
