torque on electric motor is effectively 100% @0 rpm-infinite rpm

most combustion engine have a sweet spot to get max torque

I know, still seems pretty crazy to me. Maybe that's just because I haven't seen the specs of many race cars, though.

This vehicle also has a full autonomous mode as well. Very neat to watch it complete the Circuit of the America's track in said mode.

false, electric motor torque drops as RPM goes up.



the key point here is that, at high RPM the back-emf basically mitigates the current flow from the power supply.
and if you're not aware, electric current is the main factor in electric motor torque.
