I am only getting 430 mh/s total from two cards only running at about 60% capacity. The CPU is a dual core, but its not maxed out. Any tips on getting more production out of them? Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

mmmm, this is really hard to say. My best guess is there's a PCIe Bandwidth bottleneck going on but in the past, this didn't affect AMD GPUs on Litecoin.

Otherwise, it may simply be because its NVIDIA hardware, the consumer hardware has severely gimped computation (IIRC most cryptomining calls for FP16) for pretty much everything except FP32 (because its used for games). You're better off with old Maxwell hardware if that is the case because at least that can do FP16 at the same rate as FP32.

Thanks for the comment. The 1070 is great right now with certain CUDA miners. whattomine.com shows great returns on LBRY and Equihash.

Here were my performance evaluations with two 1070s mining LBRY:

G4400 + Z170 mobo + PCI-E x1 risers = 400 - 430 MH/s
G4400 + Z170 mobo in PCI-E x16 slots = 490 - 540 MH/s
3820 + X79 mobo in PCI-E x16 slots = rock solid 550MH/s

I am new to mining, but I read that the risers and HW from the Z170 system should not really affect performance. This is clearly not the case in my experience. The X79 system is much better.
