Wait... why?

I mean Activision and Blizzard is one company but still wut... why?
Its a Bungie developed game with a partnership with Activision for publishing... so why no Steam release also?
I mean.... yeah this makes sense when you realize that Activision wants full control over it on PC.

Only one game on the service is subscription based, but I really hope Destiny 2 is not a sub game.

This is not good, this means the battle launcher is on its way to becoming a new game service, and that's just one negative aspect.

Glad I coincidentally abandoned everything Blizzard and Bungie in 2015.

Why are people saying it doesn't make sense? Activision owns a part of Blizzard right? They are just using their inhouse DRM platform so they don't have to pay the publishing fee on Steam.

I bought a PS4 just to play this. It was worth it 10 fold. The raids and PVP (Trials of Osiris) keep bringing me back. The lore is absolutely amazing because its such a mystery. I cant say enough good things about Destiny. Ill be playing on both PS and PC. Also, the community is the cherry on top, great group.

This is really stupid, leave it to the suits who are completely out of touch from their target demographic to screw things up - it's what they've done best to the video game market for a while now, lol.
The Blizzard app is a storefront in all but name. It's just that, until now, it only sold Blizzard games.

Honestly, it is second only to Steam IMO. I really don't like uplay and origin but battle.net/blizzard app is fine.

M$ isnt the publisher, so i'd highly doubt it.
