Can someone tell me how to communicate with Case Labs. I have 2 orders with them 1 that is almost 2 months old, both listed as awaiting fulfillment. I have emailed them twice with no response and called twice with no answer. Is this normal? I have ordered before with no problem..
They have had some manufacturing problems they mentioned in another thread. And also a few of their customer service people out of the office so that is why the response times haven't been that great. You can see it here:

Almost 2 months is about average for a caselabs case, they stay quite backed up. My SMA8 was around 11 weeks, waiting does suck but you won't find a better made case than a Caselabs.
I've been having trouble getting in touch with anyone from case labs.
Several phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. I can see clearly from this thread they are quite backed up in production.
I know the addition of a reservoir mount for an SMA8 is suppose to take 3-4 weeks (ordered 4/12/17), I am now approaching nearly 6 weeks with the status of "awaiting fulfillment"
I don't mind waiting, it just gives me more time to second guess my build choices on my first full custom loop rig
I would just be very appreciative of caselabs providing an updated timeline based on the given circumstances.
i just called and you don't even get vpice mail any more! It just keeps ringing! ***! I otdered on 3/30/2017! I'm starting to feel ripped off! When I spoke with jason he said it would be 2 more weeks. Friday that just past was 2 weeks and my order still reads awaiting fulfillment and then i read Jason is no longer there! Where's my product? Or my money!
Caselabs take 3-4 months on average... That said they had an issue with a machine being down and also staff change which in a SMALL shop like that 1-2 people is a big deal. Have patience it will come in time.
That is the first post I have seen that claims it takes 3-4 months for a caselabs case... 'on average'..
Regardless of that claim, what was advertised was less than 2 months. So it is no longer about having patience.. especially with the lack of communication or notification that they weren't going to meet the dates they advertised. That is what the real problem at this point is. Communication and transparency are big things.. especially with a small company.
I have to say this thread is not inspiring much confidence in CaseLabs. I've not heard a single bad thing about them as a company or their products and I dont mind an extended wait to own one of their cases, but this is really a bit much.
I really hope that we can get some official response and clear up all the confusion, something to let us know that they are still alive and kicking and haven't gone the way of Frozen CPU.
12 weeks is 3 months but seeing as on another thread a week or two ago I read they had issues with one of their machines and that they were backed up is why I said 3-4mo. I am NOT part of caselabs so I don't know for sure.... All I do know is they make an awesome product and would wait as long as it takes for one of their cases.
As for the lack of response while I understand it frustrating they just had their rep leave the company and so given how small they are (# of employees) and the machine being down I would bet they are choosing to use the manpower they have to making cases rather than answering emails at this time.
If you ask over at the CaseLabs Owners Club someone with that case will probably be able to answer that for you, most likely faster than waiting for someone with that case to see your thread.
well TY for the fast reaction, and yes had an dilemma where to post my question, but i suggested that here in the official CS forum would be the fastest way... sorry for the spam
I bought with an advertised delivery date of less than 2 months.
So not sure where your 3-4 months is coming from. I have seen people talking about late cases taking 11-12 weeks.. but those are 'late' cases.. not 'average'.
And while yes, they are awesome.. I could have bought a quick ship version, that while not exactly what I wanted, would have been here ~3 months ago.
Stop being an apologist. People know their cases are awesome. That isn't the concern. They wouldn't have spent ridiculously amounts of money on one if they didn't figure it was worth a wait.
They were having communication problems before he left.. and to be blunt.. Jason was awesome.. but it shouldn't take much to hire someone to replace at least the answering emails/phonecalls portion of his job.
I think you also underestimate the size of caselabs. They might not have hundreds or thousands of jobs.. but I doubt it is a 2 person outfit considering that they mentioned in another post having more than one location.
all of that pointless junk beside... the problem is that the second a malfunction happened, and it looked like it might delay shipment... an email should have gone out. as more information was collected... another should have gone out.. etc etc etc. Building cases is great, but not everyone working at caselabs is in the factory. The second(if not the first..) highest priority is keeping the customer informed..
I was going to get yet another CL case 3rd one and some accessories, but I've been visiting here from time to time and I'm not feeling confident enough to pool the trigger, it wasn't like that year ago I wouldn't even hesitate, that's not good
Just as an example, I ordered a white S8 on Dec 7th. I picked it up (not shipped) on April 1rst. There were two delays. I had good communication for the first delay and not so great on the second. Good customer service otherwise and Jason went out of his way to meet me early on Saturday to pick it up as I was coming in from out of town.
Our primary production is finally (!) back online after an almost three month wait for parts
Cases are back in full production now. We were very shorthanded in our customer service department, but that has improved as well. Most of you should be hearing back from us now. Email has priority over phones (for now) so that we can respond to as many people possible in the shortest amount of time.
I know it was a rough patch for us, be we should be through the worst of it now. Thank you all for your patience.
I remember when the only thing I was missing was the case for my first build I was l looking everywhere for something bigger, yet sturdy and as we all know bigger is usually flimsy.
I always have better quality components and when I posted my component list at EVGA forum someone said " for those parts you should get Caselabs case. At first I really didn't think nothing of it, but then I started to look at the options of Caselabs cases and I thought it was something I would appreciate.
Several years ago before my trip to Europe I have ordered SMH10, it took 8 weeks. The real appreciation for the case was after I finally so it, it was absolutely worth every penny, ever since I got STH10 with pedestal and SM8A from Performancepcs.
The other day I went to Canada Computers to get new CPU and while I was there I looked at some of their high-end $400-$800 full towers
, they aren't really bad, but everything seems chopped liver now
Once you get CL case I bet that you won't be happy with anything other than CL cases.

Caselabs, can we expect some updates on BX8 Bullet case without a Jason? I remember people were asking (myself included) about that case right after you released Bullet (1.5 yrs ago right?). Last thing i remember were some proto pics this february and that's it.
