I had an original Cosmos 1000 which had the sidepanel window and was modded to fit a 360-rad on top and a 240-rad in the front. I loved everything about that case, it was amazing. The main thing that I don't like about this Cosmos 2 and this 25th anniversary edition is that they are so wide. The Cosmos 1000 was way thinner but still had all of the features I wanted and more, I just don't get why they decided to make the Cosmos 2 so fat. If this case doesn't cost more than $300 - $400 I'll consider buying it.
I had the original version of the cosmos 2. Probably the biggest waste of interior space I've ever seen. I've had cases less than half the size that accommodated 2-3x more fans than this case could. Beautiful case though don't get me wrong.

Mine cosmos 2 still great after my sig rig was built all those years ago. It'd be nice if it could accommodate a EK Extreme kit but pretty sure all they changing is glass and a paint job don't think they'd re engineer it for better water cooler rads.
^ or even SSD mounts. yay!, glass panels with a poor mounting mechanism on an outdated case that was dated and a huge waste of space when it originally came out anyway. how have CM not followed Antec into chassis market obscurity yet?
It's the same case as the ORIGINAL Cosmos II but with tempered glass side and an Aluminum MOBO tray that based on the Hardware Kenucks review was thin like a coke can.... What a waste. I have a Cosmos II and it was a great case in 2012 and there is sooooooo much potential they should have moved the mid shelf down 30mm to allow more room for a thicker 360 rad up top, removed 2 hotswap bays and 2 of the 5.25 bays leaving 1 for a fan controller. This would have made room for a 360 up front. Leave 1x3 drive rack in the basement since you can't put a rad in the bottom now. Cut the midplate off just past the HDD rack and remove all HDD racks up front, add 2 SSD mounts on the back of the MOBO tray... Then add USB-C in the place of the e-SATA on the front I/O. Add IN RGB case lighting and THEN it would be great
That is one beautiful case! I always liked the Cosmos II but wouldn't get one because of the lack of a window. This would appear to have fixed that shortcoming.

At first glance it looks nice, and the brushed alu reminds me of the old stacker 810..too bad they didn`t just remake a stacker 810 with better rad-support out of the box and a tempered glass side panel, it would of made one hell of a case..unlike the abomination that was the current Stacker.
I find the Cosmos 2 to be the least desireable of CM`s cases, the Cosmos S was far nicer as well as the Cosmos 1000, and far more capable of decent water cooling setups.
sorry CM, don't feel like spending ~$300+ to have the privilege of taking a dremel to your design to fit some water cooling. i have a $40 rosewell case that i only needed a hammer for.
Thinking about getting a new case for Skylake-X... not sure which one to go with - still have my Cosmos II for the main rig and it's great. The only issue is I always wanted to do a 4x fan push-pull config on the AIO CPU cooler but neither case I have has enough space for that (Cosmos II or Air 540).
What's a good case for 4-way sli that has plenty of room for good airflow?
They set up manufacturing tooling before they ask for constructive feedback. Then, once constructive feedback is given, they tout tooling costs/change costs as an excuse as to why they don't make changes or fixes such as radiator mounting checks etc.
If only they would listen or ask for feedback before tooling is made like they did with the CM 690 II and Haf 932 which back in their day were big sellers, they would at least have a chance.
