Hi all,
looking to get either of these to power a mining/gaming rig,
5 GPU's currently 2x r9 fury,2x290x,7950 with the possibility of one more
will most likely double up on psu later on
Looks like the EVGA 1300 G2 is out everywhere otherwise its in consideration too
any help is mucho appreciado
The Antec is a better made unit but you should be aware that its a multi rail unit so if you hook too much up to the same rail OCP is going to kick in and shut the PSU off
The EVGA SuperNova P2 on the other hand is a single rail unit
As for the G2 1300 watt it has no hybrid fan mode so many complain its too loud.
That one does not have a hybrid fan mode either which means the fan is always on
Some owners complain that its too loud but duh its a 1600 watt unit so i dont know what they where expected
The P2 and T2 does have hybrid fan mode on them if you want to have the option but the G2 does not have it.
The G3 are known for being loud so unless you dont care about noise at all you dont want that either
If the G2 and P2 are out of stock in your area your best option is either the T2 or the AXi.
Ok G2 just came back in stock I placed order
Thx for all your help man, Repped up!
