Choosing a 1080Ti need some advice

I am looking at the two highest factory overclocked cards as I only run a single 1440P monitor, so no real need to overclock.

My options are:

Gigabyte Aorus Ti Extreme Edition

1746 Boost
11446 Memory

Zotac Ti AMP Extreme Edition

1759 Boost
11200 Memory

The Gigabyte is $70 more than the Zotac. Both carry a 3 year warranty.

Any particular reason for one over the other?

Thanks

Grab the Zotac. There's little reason to pay $70 bucks more for the Gigabyte card considering all these cards overclock the same when you do decide to overclock and the cooling is actually slightly better on the Zotac IIRC.

Zotac 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Edition is the fastest you can get currently. However the KFA2/Galax HOF should be clocked the same. Also kingpin 1080ti should be coming out in a few months.

Good catch. The extra $70 maybe from the 4 year warranty. You need to register the card on the gigabyte site though. I'd still go zotac.

Thanks gang Zotac it is. I need a card now and the EVGA kingpin is far out and Galax is not available in Canada.

Also an extra year of warranty really doesn't matter as I flip hardware about every 18 months

I love the all black look. Did you just driver over to the store and pick up it?! That was quick.

Yep, picked up the monitor a couple of days ago, and scooted over to pick up the GPU after reading through the comments.

Just tried a couple of rounds of BF1, everything set to ultra. GPU temps stay very low and I could not hear the fans over ambient. Temps in mid 50's with quiet fans is pretty impressive.
