Thinkpad p51 with nvidia Quadro m1200 GPU, and it won't fold with the GPU. I can fold fine on the CPU, but when attempting to add the GPU slot, the client returns an error that no GPU is present.
So far I've tried pointing both F@H and the global app setting to utilize the Quadro and verified my drivers are up to date.
Any idea what to try next?
Edit: I've found that the Nvidia Quadro m1200 GPU isn't listed in the C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\GPUs.txt file. How would you address this issue?
You can make a post over on the folding forum following the steps in this post to have the GPU added to the GPUS.txt file. Adding a Graphics Card to GPUS.txt file
I think that Qudro is similar to a 750ti, so it should work as long as the cooling is decent.

The M1200 has been added to the GPUs.txt file. If your GPUs.txt file hasn't been updated, you can delete the current GPUs.txt file, and then when you start the client it should download a new one.
I saw your reply on the folding forum and fired it up last night. She's been purring away at about 60k PPD. I didn't even need a GPU on my laptop, but the CPU, RAM, and oodles of storage really worked for me. And I end up leaving it in the docking station 90% of the time and use RDP, so I plan to let it fold forever and I doubt I'll even notice. I can't hear the fan 5' away and the GPU is around 64c - what a change of pace compared to the old GTX970 rig I was folding with last year!
If you use Windows RDP it will crash your GPU folding, because it loads it's own VGA driver. TeamViewer and some other remote access programs work without interfering with the GPU.
I'm not really impressed by 60k PPD at all, but I'm tickled that it won't be uncomfortable or expensive. If I'd had this when I joined last October I would be sitting around 20 million points - that's about 4 times what I've got now. Slow and steady wins the race
Folding wide open - this is what I get. I'm pretty happy with the temps. The GPU and CPU share a heatsink, but I don't see that being problematic. Its a comfortable ~75f inside today and a spike to 91c should be just fine
