First of all, i am a complete noob when it comes to pc building.
I am building my first rig, and as i want the best of the best, i also wanted to make water cooling. Now i have a question. After watching some YT Videos on watercooling, i heard a lot of people say that one should test the gpu before installing the waterblock. Now i wanted to know how I should test the graphics card. Should I let the CPU uncooled/or put the Stock cooler on it? Because i dont really want to put the stock cooler on the CPU and after that i have to take everything apart again. Or is testing the GPU even that necessary?

BTW these are my specs

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
GPU: Geforce GTX 1080Ti
Case. Thermaltake Core P5
MOBO: Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero
Water Cooling is by EKWB
PSU: Corsair X750
Fans: 4x1800rpm EK Vardar Fans
Ram: 16GB Hyper X Fury

You need to have at least the stock cooler on the processor. It's easy to put on and remove afterwards.

To test the GPU, just install everything (hardware), then when in windows, download a video benchmark like Unigine Superposition and run it 2-3 times. If everything is fine, then your GPU is most likely alright and you can proceed.
