If the fan is well sealed in to the radiator, it should matter. Theoretically, pushing is better than pulling but the difference is mostly academic.

Yep, it's more so that I can figure out where to position the fan/rad inside my case. Do you happen to know which way the fan blows?

It pushes air through the radiator.

BTW:

Which Bios are you guys using. The one the comes with the waterforce or the F3P BIOS of the regular Aorus Extreme?

I do not know any other bios besides the one that comes from factory (waterforce model).

Anyone else get an intermittent "whooshing" sound when they first switch on the PC? I suspect it's bubbles passing through the pump. It's usually worst when I first switch on my PC and settles after a few minutes, but a bit annoying for something that costs so much!

Not uncommon with a CLC. Try flicking the hoses gently to dislodge any remaining air in the system and you should be good.

Just wondering, what kind of overclocks are other people getting? I'm able to do +650 on the memory, but I can't go beyond 1746 on the boost clock without it crashing. It's enough to maintain a stable clock rate just above 2 Ghz while gaming but I probably could have achieved that on air. Looks like I lost the lottery frown.gif

Your memory is good! My two EVGA sc2 hybrids only like +200 on the RAM until the error correction starts slowing them down. I've messed with several 1080 TIs now and a card that does 2.1ghz is rare without a voltage curve.

Pretty much all Pascal cards ship maxed out from the factory.

Now I feel bad. Mine can do +900 before errors set in.
