Did do a 3rd run but forgot to grab screenie redface.gif, here is 2x runs without monitoring, IMO negligible difference with/without monitoring.

Again negligible difference with/without monitoring.

Did also ~20min Wolfenstein 2, didn't note any performance issues from having monitoring.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I'm using:-

VBIOS P/N: 113-D0500100-104
VBIOS Version: 016.001.001.000.008769

(TPU DB link)

With PP reg I mod only:-

i) GPU DPM 5 1062mV, DPM 6: 1557MHz 1075mV, DPM 7: 1642MHz 1125mV
ii) SOC DPM 5 to 7 1107MHz
iii) HBM DPM 3 1100MHz

Set PowerLimit: 38% in WattMan.

I hope you keep a switch for users who have no issue with additional VEGA monitoring smile.gif , as always cheers Martin for your support thumb.gif .

I was reading the review for the new red devil 56 and if you scroll to the bottom where it says tweaking ..
It says you can only grab extra 4 % because amd locked hbm clocks ??
That must be to not rob 64 sales wonder if you can still flash or if they block that as well ?
I love my 56's one of them I game 1100 /1750 water cooled lc bios so close to my lc 64 almost can't tell difference ..

Not tech news, it's all speculation and rumor. Visit any mining forum or the Monero mining subreddit and you'll see that Vega is very much being scooped up by miners. Average people are running 6 Vegas which offers insane Monero hashrate, not to mention fairly profitable right now. Cards can be tweaked to consume very little power too. Mining on my single vega 64 gives me about a 2k hashrate and consumes 140w.

They might not know what they're talking about or meant to say voltage. As far as I know, all these cards will let you OC the memory.

Is there any risk in boosting SoC frequency?

I still eventually get crashes in Cod ww2 , "device gets removed".
