Hard disk dying? - Page 2

Before this situation, have you been making routine backups of your OS and your Data partitions onto external media? And, please make at least two full images of your OS and two full images of your Data partitions onto external media, I use platter-driven drives myself, using any free or fee backup / restore / cloning program such as EaseUS ToDo, AOMEI Backupper, Macrium Reflect, Image for Windows, naming just a few of many out there. Do not make the mistake some, but not all, others have made, trying to solve hardware before saving the OS and especially your Data.

Thanks for the advice. I do have backup for my important files. I also have 1 hdd that I use to save my OS image that I clone using Macrium.
