Hi There,

I've just built my first gaming PC to replace my aging N61JQ laptop that has seen better days.

The ASUS n61JQ was a bit of a beast in the early days but now I'm on low in almost all games, even with upgraded ram and CPU and thermal paste. so it had to be replaced. But it does still work over ten years later.

Now I have always dreamt of making my own PC and started planning in earnest once the 1080ti came out. The last PC I owned was a Pentium Pro 150 so I have had to do a lot of research to get up to current specs. It is soo much easier than those days. Back when I had the Pentium I had the fastest computer in the school, until my mate Tally bought a Pentium 200 about a week later. Now I have that feeling of owning a beast of a computer again.

Have a look at my rig and let me know what you think? I assembled Marvin this weekend, and it was pretty straight forward. I loaded up and updated windows and was done in a few hours. Amazeballs. Yeah I went RGB crazy.
I have auto overclocked the CPU and RAM using the ASUS ROG bios.

Now I've joined overclock to find out what kind of test i should run to make sure everything is running and cooling properly.

Is there some specific benchmark tests I should run. or some kind of stress test?

Any advice on this or my Rig would be greatly appreciated.

thinking of an ultrawide 2k monitor or a 4k 100hz? decisions decisions

Thanks Guys
