Hey,

Just wondering if anyone had any new info on the new predator replacement.

I plan on building a new system in a few months with Ryzen/Coffee Lake(?) and my 1080ti Gaming X.

I'm hoping to do a full loop with EK's new modular AIO.

If there's no new info, I understand....just checking.

Thanks

Thanks for the response, everyone.

It's good to know it's still being worked on.

An easy to install, and use, AIO made with custom loop quality parts is exactly what I've been looking for.

I missed the boat on the original predator series, but it'll be worth the wait for the improved version.

Thanks, again.

If everything goes according to plan, we still anticipate on having it out in Q4. We are very sorry for all of the delays, but we want to ensure that we put the best possible product out for this item. Please keep an eye on our news page and social media channels as we should have some announcements on it coming soon.
But then they said same on July 4, 2017

About time!

Also noticed the EKWB shop page now has GPU, CPU and Radiator Core Module pages under the EK-MLC AIO heading, so must be getting closer!
"The company has currently 90 employees, from that 15 people in top and middle management and 7 in R&D." --- it's still top heavy.

Too many chiefs and not enough Indians?

The more workers you have making things , testing / improving things after they are designed, and performing failure analysis on RMAs the better the company will be.

I hope that VSG (thermalbench , TPU) and xtremerigs will be sent review samples.

Agreed - this release will be critical in renewing confidence in their AIO lines considering the blunders of the Predator series... Though, like others, I wonder if the management shake up will be favourable to their AIO/modular lines, or if we'll see these discarded in favour of the higher quality/higher priced enthusiast level watercooling products they're known for. Personally I'd like to see both lines of development pursued, but who knows what's going on behind the scenes.

It's pretty darn expensive, $240 for the 360 radiator (not much price differential to the $220 for 240 radiator / $230 for 280 radiator), $98 for CPU block , $183 for VEGA GPU block...

I understand that the pump is integrated into the radiator assembly, but the other parts are just blocks with quick disconnects as far as I can tell.

Would be interesting to compare EK-KIT S360 + GPU block vs the same setup using MLC parts.

does anyone know what material the pump/res end of the new radiator is made from?

Hopefully it's not the same crappy plastic that the predator was made from. I bought one a year or so ago, and had only been using it for the past month, and the extended port developed a crack so I used some glue on it, and it ended up softening the crappy plastic they used. For the price of these things, they should be made out of acetal, not plastic.

Ouch, it loses the LGA 775 / LGA 1366 / AM2 / AM3 support that the Predator had... And the Supremacy Evo block had...

EDIT: You can buy an "upgrade kit" for AMD legacy, but not Intel. Hmmmm.....

The fan upgrade kit is still called the Predator push/pull Add-On, and it says you get Vardar F4's, and not EVO's....

Predator had a Supremacy MX. Manual and other stuff are still missing on the webpage.

Edit : looking at my history purchases, Predator 360 was 290€, MLC is a bit cheaper.
