Anyone have experience with the BH7 with several 3.5" drives installed?. Will two good 80mm fans (like Noctuas) be able to cool down 6x 3.5 HDD's that are modern/power efficient? (for example, the ones I have in mind are the WDC RED 6TB 5400rpm drives). I'm aiming for HDD temps under 40 degrees C.
What concerns me is the direction the HDD brackets are installed, looks like they could obstruct airflow from the cage installed in the front. And there appears to be barely any ventilation holes in the front where air can enter the lower chamber.

The truth is the BH8 would probably work better for your needs than the BH7. Cabling for six drives in the BH7 is very tight and would be much easier in the BH8. It would also let air circulate a little better. The drives are airspaced in the cages with ventilation holes so with either design, airflow from two 80mm fans is more than enough to keep them running cool.
