How many threads to enable?

Need some help concerning folding. I'm running a 1700x 3.9 and a 1080ti. For the past couple of days I've been folding using only my gpu (didn't realize it was only gpu) and now I''m looking to add my cpu into the equation. My question is, how many cpu threads should I enable in the configure slot? The 1700x is an 8 core 16 thread chip, but I usually fold while watching youtube or browsing forums in the background. Will enabling all 16 not allow me to do that or should I enable less?

Also, should I have only one cpu slot or several?

1 slot can use multiple threads.

An NV GPU will need a full CPU thread to feed it data. Some odd numbers (13 and 15) and doubles of primes (14) do not get much work, if any at all, so I would set the CPU slot to 12.

Got it, thanks!

One more thing, I can't seem to find the OCN folding team number, mind providing it so I could join?
