Just curious if its easier to make games on mobile devices, than pc/mac. My friend has a pretty poor computer, but we're playing diablo 2, but I just wish the graphics were a bit better. That got me thinking, it seems like more and more mobile games keep popping up out of nowhere. There are also those retro style games and terraria. My goal is free, mp, low spec, updated graphics, but not too demanding, cross platform. So I like to wonder if I could ever make something myself.

Thanks,

Developing for Android and Windows is pretty simple. IOS you gotta pay for a dev license, and must be done on a Mac.

But, Mobile apps are easier because they are smaller. For video games, it pretty much all comes down to what dev framework you choose. I have done a littlebit with Unity, and there is a good amount of tutorials and stuff for it.

Dont worry about which one is easier or harder, choose the one that is right for what you want it to do. Would you really wana play D2 on a phone? Would you prefer to do a crossword puzzle on the PC or on your phone? As for cross platform, dont worry about that unless its mobile.

Alnost always will be the android is the easier platform for gig games its fine to use an engine but for mobile code it yourself. Lots more enjoyment than just using a cookie cutter app designer. Grab android studio and some tutorials.
