Let me introduce myself first, my name is Sotiris and i am from Greece. I started modding in 2004 and my first official case was back in 2012 and the second was few months ago and participated in the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2017 and had the name Half Life 2: Gordon Freeman edition. Now, few months later, i decided to go one or maybe lots of steps further and accomplish another case mod which i was thinking through the years, i will soon be posting a premature sketchup image i took few hours before i make this post. The previous two official cases had a turbine fan in the front, now this one will have three turbine fans and will be painted red with blue pearl and highlights of the sponsors around the case (i won't be making any spoils....yet!!), so lets get started. At first a big thanks to DeepCool for trusting me with a tesseract bf case!!

Secondly, the name tesseract will have double meaning in this particular mod.
No1 The name given by DeepCool
No2 The power of the tesseract to create and to destroy in the Marvel Universe
PLUS (a candy) the tesseract will be placed on top of the case with Blue watercooling liquid as it will be the reservoir!

This is a very premature, quick and preliminary image i made of the case's front face panel and how it will be.
It will be covered with pvc pipe and fiberglass!

So Project: Pearl Tesseract is commencing!!!!
For now i wait for the company to send some case goodies!! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif
Lets get started shall we??

For now, my intention is to put one triple rad on the front panel and create on the whole face triple turbine holes and fans just like the one i'm updating these days the half life 2!!
One is from ocool i bought and it is 3x120mm
and the bigger one is 3x140mm
They might be in a bad condition but this doesn't matter as they will be painted from scratch!!
I don't know which one i will be installing as the case hasn't arrived yet but i tend for the 3x120mm

More updates soon!!

After a thorough conversation with my wife, we decided that i should make it with the Hulk signature too, so a slight change of plans, the theme will be black and green with a technique i developed while i was making the Half Life 2: Gordon Freeman edition case mod, the tesseract will remain but the only addition and change will be the color theme and the character which i thought some very interesting things which i will be deploying later o n these days, the name now is Hulk Smash Tesseract!!!!

Here i will be showcasing of how the whole case will be painted, it's a technique i learned while i was making the Half Life 2: Gordon Freeman edition case mod.
For the purpose i'll need three spray cans, one orange primer, one base color and one top color.

For that purpose i use one piece of side panel acrylic i had damaged so i thought i might use it.

The cause for that effect is a plastic bag, it can be done also with newspaper but i prefer the plastic bag!! biggrin.gif

The i had to sand a bit the acrylic to buff it a bit so the paint can stick better.

Here is one with the primer

After we let it dry in the sun, we use our base color which in this particular case will be this kind of green.

Now here somes the tricky part, i only have matt color and matt dries fast and here i have a color that dries even faster, so i applied a thick layer of matt (thick because i didn't want cracks to be shown)
and as it was dry i applied a plastic bag and the effect is the following, more than satisfying i must say!!

So, that's how the case will be painted and detailed, so, be patient more are coming soon and most of all, stay tuned!!

What i realized is that this case can be "inverted" very easily with not so many holes and that is a very satisfying fact because i will be inverting the motherboard tray and rear i/o panels!
Stay tuned for more!!
