Threadripper has effectively end of life'd the 7900x.

No surprise here... most of the reviews are benchmarking against the 10c 7900x. Granted, they are the same price, but would get interesting once we get reviews on the 10+ core i9's. I think intel would be forced to do a price cut on the 7900 after some time.

will be interesting to see. I see the barrier for TR ebing latency between dies and for i9's power and thermals in that package are gonna be simply nuts.

Oh, they have both UMA and NUMA as presets.That is great for consumers.
