Yes, I am sure there is a lot of performance there, not just from driver improvements but from game optimizations, rapid-packed-math, HBC, etc etc. I think in 1 year's time one of these will still offer strong performance, and I'm not saying that in an 'AMD fanboy FineWine' way, I mean honestly, look at the tech inside the Vega arch, has much more potential than AMD's last few generations of cards.

That would be nice because I'm "invested" into the Ryzen and Vega platform now. I pulled the trigger on Ryzen early on and also bought a Free Sync monitor to go with it so a Nvidia card is out of the question this time around, which I'm actually ok with.

Bummer about the bundles. It's almost like they penalize those who bought Zen and a Freesync monitor. A rebate for them would have been a nice gesture, although it would be a hassle to manage for AMD.

If they would bundle with threadripper... I would move over to that. But I don't want another ultra-wide freesync monitor and I don't want to go from 6 cores to 8. Now, 12 or 16 I could get into. 😉

I had been thinking that they should offer a 1900 bundle when the TR 1900 comes out.

Because some buyers will get their $1000 back so their Vega is free. You can't rip off Newegg or a retailer with that scheme.

Dirt 4 is a ~mid-2017 game based on EGO 4.0 game engine.

Upcoming F1 2017 should run similar on GCN4/5. thumb.gif
Release: 25 August 2017
