Well, not only am I still waiting for my fittings but these blocksare still some 20 days from starting shipping anyways.
So there's no need on my end to rush. BP will have a few more days to possibly come out with theirs and try to snipe me from the clutches of EK, it seems.
But other than being surprised EK are only selling Nickel/Plexi, this is pretty much as expected, I guess. Which is not necessarily a bad thing as even EK's "bad" blocks are generally pretty damn good (that one time when their plating was dodgy aside)

Don't think I ever had to take this long waiting on parts for a build though.

Well I have the xspc block as well so I am good. If it's bad I will bash it all over the place. The cold plate looks different from the photos, so we will see.

Any update on this Zenith Extreme Monoblock? It's taking forever... seems like the demand is there I don't get what the holdup is, by the time you release it we will all be on the next chipset jeez.

EK's one is already out. Check their website.

Haha, cast the first stone he who was never blind by childish nerd rage =P

I haven't ordered mine quite yet as I'm giving Bitspower a chance to release theirs, which I would prefer. But if they don't by the end of next week, then it's a victory for EK, I guess.
My pile of parts is already fairly big back at home and not many left to arrive so that trigger finger be pretty itchy

Oh, would you look at that

The patient hunter gets the prey

EDIT:

Looking more carefully now, this is slightly disappointing. It seems to have one of them spinner flow indicators but no actual sensors.
Price is pretty similar, BP is about 15 Jandal Straps more expensive here in NZ, according to Google, for me that'd probably be an extra delivery fee on top of those 15 monies too.

Otherwise think it'll come to looks and performance. Performance is a shot in the dark right now. EK's Supremacy seems to have disappointed a bit in comparison to other blocks but I couldn't find any proper shootouts of any kind from the ones previously available, let alone these two upcoming ones. This is where it sucks TR4 doesn't have a crappy stock cooler to get you by while you wait for proper information

They're both only available in nickel/plexi but one is clear the other has a cloudy finish. I personally think the EK one looks a bit better but at that point it's 100% preference, also possibly influenced by the lack of quality pictures from Bitspower, whereas for EK's the only question the pictures haven't answered is whether they tweaked the fin area at all on the block (I'm assuming not, but here's your chance (and invitation) to prove me wrong, EK).

So... there we have it, it seems. RIP the dream for everyone (me included) who was hoping to have a flow and a temp sensor plugged to that fancy header. At least for the foreseeable future.

I think there will be another one from bitspower for sure. We have the header, if they did it for the crosshair extreme they will do it for the zenith imo. Look at the picutre the fin area doesn't seem that large either which is disappointing.
