second

AMD - Ryzen 7 1700x 3.4GHz 8-Core Processor
ASRock - X370 Professional gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Phanteks - Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass (Black) ATX
Deepcool - CAPTAIN 240EX WHITE 153.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair - RMx 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Crucial - MX300 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB SC2 Video Card

monitor Asus - MG279Q 27.0" 2560x1440 144Hz

first build has more ssd space while second has a more expensive mobo with better case , overall more looks few more extras

Which one should i go and what i could possibly change .

Btw i have the memory bought in another time i dont feel like spending around 170 dollars more for new 3200 ( i would upgrade in the future though ) also asus doesnt support the 2666 module , i also bought the 1700x already at a very cheap price

thing is i sacrifice case and mobo for ther xtra ssd space , budget is way too much for me now

Question, why the 850W power supply? Your system is not pulling anywhere near that amount of wattage? Why not alleviate the budget by going with a PSU with lower wattage like 600-650w?

Just a thought.

As said already you dont need an 850 watt PSU for a build with a single video card in it
Unless youhave plans for SLI or Crossfire there is no reason to get that much wattage

As for the PSU the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold might be a little it cheaper and would be a better option if its the same price or less then the RMx.

well if i dont need the 850 cool even better for me , i dont know i just see some guys running 1k power supplies for single gpu i thought i might need it.

given the fact that psu is ridiculous expensive where i live , i can fit in the xtra ssd as replacement

The whole thing could be redone from scratch.

1700
B350 or cheap X370
2x8GB 3200 CL16-14
Case with actual airflow. +2-3 extra fans
Certainly not an AIO/CLC but a decent $40-50 air cooler there are plenty
RM650x, Focus Gold, G2, G3, Bitfenix WhisperM all in 650W
3-4TB HDD
250-500GB SSD
1080 Ti the cheapest you can find with decent cooler

^THIS

honestly, short of multiple gpu's, i fail to see the purpose of the x370 chipset honestly.

People that do that do it for a number of reasons but the most common one is they dont know a thing about power draws and think their systems draw a ton of power when it does not
Then there are those that buy massive amount of wattage thinking they are going to need it for upgrade that might or might not happen

And then there are those that think more wattage is just better for a number of reasons
But the truth is almost all systems with a single video card wont draw more then 300-400 watts at full load and thats WITH overclocking

As long as you are not doing SLI or Crossfire mess around with hardware/BIOS volt mods or use LN2/liquid helium cooling you dont need more 450-650 watts for a system with a single video card
And last yes ditch the AIO cooler and get a good air cooler instead its cheaper and its going to be more quiet.

Edit: i also agree with the case as well and you should get the bigger Pro instead of the Pro M.

Hey,

Since you already have the CPU and the RAM I'd suggest changing the following as others have also mentioned:

1. You don't need an X370 motherboard, a B350 will do fine unless you need the added features of the X370

2. Drop the 850watt PSU. 650 watts is more than enough unless you plan on adding a second 1080ti and then some. It can be another Corsair unit but consider other brands as well like Seasonic and EVGA.

3. I'd go for a WD Caviar Black hard drive as opposed to the Blues, they should be more reliable. Personally I'd also prefer a Samsung SSD but it should be fine.

4. Drop the AIO cooler and go for a good air cooler, you'll get similar if not identical performance while saving a nice amount of $$ and not having to worry about it leaking or the pump failing.
