Haven't had any issues seems miles ahead of my gn7 and ip7 It replaced. Don't think I will go back to Samsung after having so many issues with gn7. And the iPhone was just too child like was like using a Fisher Price phone. biggrin.gif

After Note 4 the lineup is basically S + Pen. The Dual Cameras should have been in S8 but they had basically nothing left to sell for Note for.

The same. And you really must use the S-Pen in order to justify the price tag of the device. I have personally a note 3 neo and was waiting to see the phone.. But the price tag and that design on the back.. plus the fingerprint sensor at that size is no-no for me.

I am either going for an lg g6( at that price is a very good deal) or second hand note5.

G6 seems like a very good phone. I used G3 before S7 Edge and my only complain was the Camera. Yeah the Notes are very expensive plus I think S9 will have to be a better phone if the next iPhone is a big change.

Try to upgrade my note 4 but went v20 coz it had removable battery.

Loved the n7. Went back to n5 after, and for a great deal on the lg g5. G5 camera was way too fun. N8's implementation seems similar enough. I might get it afterall, especially since it's 50% off with trade in for former n7 owners. I know Verizon is doing 50% off with n5 trade ins.

I think its a good idea to wait a few weeks before buying this one, remember what happened last time.

Free phone replacements plus accessories? Money back when switching to another Samsung phone? Half off the note 8?

Am I missing anything?

Last time? I got 2 free watches, 2 free $200 visa gift cards, 2 free 256gb memory sticks, 2 free $50 "we're sorry" visa gift cards from Samsung, 2 free $25 Verizon billing credits. I won't be waiting lol.

Edit: forgot to add the 2 extra bill credits for whatever I paid for the phones.

Only disappointment for me with this phone is the still silly fingerprint scanner location on the back. This phone looks like a "perfected" Note 7, which I still love to this day (and which still hasn't "exploded" hurr durr). The fact that I can get a $500 credit toward a Note 8 when trading in my Note 7 just makes this phone that much sweeter for me (especially since I already got a couple of refunds and a 256GB microSD card)! Wish it came in the Coral Blue though.

I wonder if I trade in both my Note 5 and 7 if I can get the Note 8 for free??? biggrin.gif
