A lot of the cheap chinese phones are actually pretty good now. Stuff with weird names like Doogee and Leewoo actually perform admirably. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 but I think it may very well be my last Superphone.Originally Posted by qlum
Still doing fine on my note 3, probably gonna keep it until it dies completely.
I really don't know what phone will come after probably something lower end as the phone performs fine and lower end phones are a lot better then they where before.
Another thing is that I prefer to stay on a grippy plastic back and replaceable batteries but this will be hard.
Its really a shame that everyone has abandoned plastic for phones.
Sure plastic conducts heat a bit less but its more comfortable, is resistant to visible damage, conducts wireless signals a lot better just to name a few things.
I went from a Galaxy S5 (rooted + custom ROM) to a Galaxy S8+ and have enjoyed it since its release late-April. It's the first phone to give me a lot of customization options right off the stock ROM and TouchWiz isn't the slow and bloated launcher like in the past. Granted the Note 8 will be similar to the S8 and S8+ in most specs, I think you will really like it.
Cameras are often subjective because one takes better pictures in high brightness (outdoor) places while others take better nightime or indoor pictures. Many people right now think the Google Pixel has the best camera, but that is of course subjective. lol.
yes, LG has had it for a while now and some other models are getting it or have had it for a short time as well.
TouchWiz was plenty bad on previous iterations of Samsung flagships, hence why I used custom ROMs and a different launcher for my Galaxy S5. However, the Galaxy S8/S8+ is almost as quick as stock Android and doesn't have so much additional "fluff" that made it sluggish in the past.Originally Posted by EniGma1987
Personally, I dont recommend this phone as I never recommend Samsungs. They are known to be "bloaty" Android that is not as smooth, has delayed updates, many times the updates ruin battery life. I really dont know why Samsung because #1 selling Android brand, they are really the worst of the Android phones.

Guess it's been a long time since the last time you touched a Samsung.Originally Posted by EniGma1987

Display is subjective because some love OLED for the contrast it brings, others love LCD on their phones.
Size of screen is different for everyone and often has to do with both hand size and eyesight.

Better camera? Do you rate camera based on the number of pixel or smt
guess you haven't been on reddit/r/android Plenty of people are complaining about the camera and the "jelly effect"

Haven't had any issues seems miles ahead of my gn7 and ip7 It replaced. Don't think I will go back to Samsung after having so many issues with gn7. And the iPhone was just too child like was like using a Fisher Price phone.
The same. And you really must use the S-Pen in order to justify the price tag of the device. I have personally a note 3 neo and was waiting to see the phone.. But the price tag and that design on the back.. plus the fingerprint sensor at that size is no-no for me.
G6 seems like a very good phone. I used G3 before S7 Edge and my only complain was the Camera. Yeah the Notes are very expensive plus I think S9 will have to be a better phone if the next iPhone is a big change.Originally Posted by shhek0

I am either going for an lg g6( at that price is a very good deal) or second hand note5.
