Hurricane Harvey possible delays in shipping and response times

Hurricane Harvey is making it's way to shore, just a head's up to all of you we could be MIA over the next few days depending on how bad the flooding here gets. Businesses may be closed on Monday/Tuesday, which could delay shipping of orders placed this weekend.

You may have noticed much slower response times from us the past couple weeks, but we are starting to catch up with everything here so response times should start to go back to where we want them to be at (within a few hours on business days.) I will be able to answer all outstanding emails and questions tonight or tomorrow morning.

Some roads and buildings are flooded, particularly closer inside Houston. I doubt I'll be able to leave the house the next day or two. Our house is still doing fine, although the road we sit on is starting to accumulate water.

The worst part will still be coming over the next few days as it keeps pouring down. Even 4" of rain is enough to start flooding the roads here, and we've already got several times that amount. It's going to get pretty bad.

You and your family been able to keep electric or having to run generators? Man I hope this passes by quickly and everyone at Silicon Lottery is safe and well

Reminds me of Irene, though I lived further up a mountain at the time, off a dead end street. The into our area was completely washed out, and we lost a lot of roads throughout the entire area.

You guys are getting a lot more rain than we did back then, be safe.

The worst is over, just waiting for all the roads to clear up. We made it through with minimal damage fortunately.

Unfortunately the shipping carriers here were hit pretty hard, some of their facilities are still in water. Making business hard when we can't get anything in or out!

That's really good news, I am happy it ended well!

On the other hand, do you know if the package that got dropped off at DHL on Friday is OK? I am really worried by now it got destroyed and don't know what to do. worriedsmiley.gif

Thank you!
