Also damn, no lights on the EK monoblock, its plugged in, hopefully its just a setting I need to enable..
1. just how many "accessory monitors" do you have that you can't hang them off one of the 1080ti? Not judging, just curious...
2. As xarot says update bios
3. monoblock should light up right away and be in sync with the left side of led bar right above the top GPU (the one that says "Republic Of Gamers").

Check that you are on the right rgb header (you need 12V - top -right of board near CPU fan header if not inverted) and check that you have not swizzled the extension cable.... Don't understand why EK did not size the rgb cable to the board since they are paired??? So, I have this big long extension cord that I have to cable manage now... sweet! Also tight fit for the cable itself with 8 dimms... I have it wrapped around the ram on the left and then it goes behind the MB and finally the extension comes out to the top right.

Exactly 50 points difference.

Then went back and ran again, forgot I had windows open, and back ground apps

Second pass with fluff shut down is actully better than the X16. That was run with the same clocks and same background apps shut down.

X16, X8 14,037 24 ponts better
https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/23400775

All 3 well within the margin of error of 1%

Edit:
Dont have the first one showing second card at X16 but here is just now showing it at X8

Try witcher 3 @max in 4k. 16x vs 8x smile.gif

4+2 detachable, Hopefully the Titan Volta has mini DP on it.

Yeah I have it plugged into the rgb header by the RAM and run around it like a few people here did.I'll try to recover the cable if theres another slot I can plug it into or do I need to use the RGB extension cable that came w/ the board?

Use USB 2.0 stick and the USB Flashback at the back of the board.

Yeah grabbing the latest atm, funny enough I got the internet part int he bios to work but it said that 0802 was the latest, so grabbing 1003 atm ( if thats the latest ) manually.

So can't update the one on the ASUS USB stick since it seems to be write locked and shows up as a CD vs a drive.. that's odd, looking to see IF I even have a USB 2.0 stick.

*edit*

Kk On 1002 now, managed to find an old usb 2.0 stick.

Still randomly freezing while in the BIOS, no HDD's are connected or SSD's just the m.2 on the dimm 2 controller and the one under the armor.

Temps/voltage look fince, really curious what the issue is.

1004 is the latest for these boards buddy, check back in this thread Raja posted a download link for it. I think either 1003 or 1004 helps with freezing issues within the BIOS. This is another issue that all these links should be directly on Asus page

Thanks in advance for posting up your results for this. We are all interested and patiently waiting. I've seen a random post on reddit or the likes of someone throwing out random figures and not a verified benchmark. I've searched extensively even here and seen nothing showing any difference that's more than a few FPS or percentage points at most that could be considered inside the margin of error.

If I've learned nothing else about OCN.......pictures or it didn't happen.

We also must keep in the same fruit family with HB SLI.

As for BIOS goes Im currently on 0802. Why?

1002 did give me the same OC with a little less voltage but yeilded issues with Turbo boost. 1003 lost stability with the exact same settings as 1002 and 1004 fixed the botches in 1003. Most importantly Intel 900P drive went from supported and able to use VROC raid in 1002 to unsupported in 1003 and maybe 1004. Seeing how Im booting from 2 900P drives in raid0 im not changing again until the VROCSTANMOD keys materialize from ASUS.

Just one GPU?biggrin.gif

Luna, I'm still on 802 no freezing.... I'm sure Asus has more info on what combo of settings/devices matter though maybe there is something I am not doing?

I have a 960 pro in dimm.2 in slot 1, an SSD in SATA 1 an 2 GPUs. Wifi, 1G and 10G are all enabled.

Yes you need to use the extension included with the board.
