Rather long RGBA (4 pin) cable.

The cable on the monoblock wasn't long enough to reach the only header on the board I believe you can actually use. BTW, rgba is not "keyed" so its easy to reverse, make sure you have the little arrow on the 12V pin.

Oh, yeah I had to do that, basically, ran it over, only the letters are lighting up though ,so I think I have it in correctly I thought the rest of the block was supposed to light up?

I got the all black one it has what looks like trace lines on it I figured for lighting but only the words are lighting.

Also running the windows creation tool to download fall's ISO, I can put this on a usb3.0 stick right as long as I have the asus USB ( with the drivers ) in the other drive for the M.2's etc right ? Technology has caught up right?

Also on a good note, no more freezing though each time it restarts it defaults to a diff monitor on either the 1080ti side or the 980ti lol.. weird, sometimes it shows up on both cards ( did that on my x79 sometimes as well ) for bios that is

Haven't tried a clean install yet, given that linux works, I would not expect you to have any problems with win10. This is part of why I don't bother with bootable raid. Recovery is risky and complicated.

The pic above is, as I am still, without ever opening Aura or doing ANYTHING in the bios to setup RGB. It's bone stock unicorn vomit all the way. Make's my daughters cringe, so we are going with it. thumb.gif

Ok this is weird if I push the power button while in bios ( since i have no OS ) it gently shuts off but leaves all my fans and lights running, and fans running at a lower power setting, is there a setting I can disable for this? They're not shutting off, only way is to hold the power button down for a while. Its like the PC is going into a soft sleep or something...

Lights on - configurable...

Fans on... um, I think you have a PSU or wiring issue...

Are your fans on a molex splitter with PWM control separate or are you powering them directly from the MB?

You can reverse the LEDs and thus the wire that comes out of the monoblock. You won't get the notch tho.

There were a few of us that ran the wire UNDER the armour to the left of the PCI-e lanes and out the bottom to the bottom RGB header. It is BARELY long enough and takes a little work to get it through all that armour. As much trouble as it was, I think it was worth it.

Directly, and thats 36 fans that are still spinning lol... + the lights to my bay res and w/e else.

Also @cekim how do you update the date/time theres no option other than to view it.

36 fans is a boatload, add up the max amps on the back of those fans and compare it to the spec of each PWM header to which you are connected - I have a hunch you are exceeding that. You should get some molex powered splitters ASAP and perhaps pull of a few fans until you do...

That _should_ not allow them to run absent the PSU believing the MB is "on" (the same jumper you use to run the pumps to fill) though.

That they are still running indicates to me you have an electrical problem unless there is a mode I'm not aware of (and frankly that makes no sense).

Do you have another PSU handy to test? Does it still happen if you disconnect a bunch of your fans?
