I thought since the Apex has been released, those of us still waiting for the Extreme needed a place to spend our time while we wait to preorder...

It is pretty much confirmed that this board will be SKL-X only, right?

Also joining the wait with you guys, we'll probably have to way more than you to get it in EU, aswell as the 7920x.

I really hope that the 7920x is the biggest LCC die, I want a full enabled CPU, otherwise I'm going 7900x.

If I am not mistaken the Apex, which just released, was available in Europe before we saw it here in the US, but only by a day or so. Here's hoping to it being released soon™ everywhere.

Yes, there is no support for the 16 lane cpus lacking fiver (Kabylake)

Yes, the 12 core 7920X is the highest LCC processor. The 14, 16, and 18 are HCC.

I don't think we can take Anand as a good source for this info as they are the first to be clueless, they reported the 12 core being the highest core count LCC chip on another article



I'm still pretty sure the 12 core is the full LCC die.
