3 x M.2 Drives + 1 x GPU in X99 System?

So I've got an Asus X99 Deluxe/U3.1 MoBo and two M.2 Drives installed currently. One on the main board + one in the expansion card that came with the MoBo, as well as a GTX 1080.

Right now one of the drives hosts Windows 7, while the other hosts games. The game drive is full, and there's always something else I'd like to install to it.

Is it possible to run three M.2 Drives if I grab another Asus PCIE adapter card, without a detriment to overall performance? I'd like to buy a larger drive for games and use the spare smaller one for a dual boot with Windows 10. I have no intention of ever running a second GPU so don't worry about that.

Is this possible? Please enlighten me, thank you.

I did extensive research on this before posting and found nothing, hence the post. SINCE there's nobody talking about running three, I'm fairly certain that I'm the first to publicly confirm that you can run three. I had to either replace an NVME drive, or add one, so I bought the drive, and bought the $20 Asus Hyper card just to find out. Seems that if you have enough PCIe lanes, you're good. My CPU can handle up to 40 but my board is limited to 28, and 3 x4 drives plus a GPU running an x8 mode (not that it matters currently) and 2 x1 sound cards works out just fine. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Should be fine with X99. You got 40 PCIE. 3 x M.2 are 12x which GPU is 16x.

Thank you for the reply, I do appreciate it. I just bought the bullet and tried it because I needed the drive one way or another, and it worked out fine.
