New front covers coming for Mercury cases! - Page 2

One advantage of the fixed front on show here is much easier selection of filters if you want to use them. The flex bays do tend to limit filter choices.

Great idea to bring back the S3 and S8S! Love those cases, especially the S3. Too bad I just received a different mITX case and SFX PSU, would have loved to do an S3 build to accompany the SMA8 thumb.gif

No filters for life! I'd rather run a datavac through the system every other month to keep things tidy and not worry about filters and performance impedance/noise. Also, the fixed flexbays remove the luxury of an Aquaero. But it's good to provide options for everyone as no two builds are the same. I just hope it doesn't increase lead times with too many options. thumb.gif

I'd like to see the S8S come back also but not sure if there is too much of a market for it compared to the S3

The new BH8 sits fairly well in the role that the S8S used to fill.

So ... you can still use 5.25 bay stuff ... but to get to it you would have to take the complete front cover off? And you would have to 'recess' it a little?

We still have the option for the flex-bay style front cover. This is just for people who never plan to use a bay device.

I've seen a case with 5.25 drive on the back. You have plenty of space in bigger cases: Clean space on the front, and control panel on the back thumb.gif
