Cooler Master Mastercase H500P - Page 34

I wonder how long it will take for a mesh front to be released

Most likely after they release all the other items they announced that people of the 5/500 series have been waiting for. I never heard of an announcement of a mesh front, though Gamers Nexus made their own by removing the front panel. Cases have gone so far towards aesthetics, they have forgotten about airflow.

is it worth it to get this coming from a CM storm stryker??
(Honestly neither is a particularly great case). What do you hope to get in return? If it's aesthetics than sure. For performance, radiator compatibility, build quality, and so on, there are better cases on the market.

Well, whats wrong with the cm storm stryker in your opinion? Because i honestly think its a great case minus not having a full size side panel window and not silent proof.......but other than that, i think its a very sleek and sexy looking case. Plus im a fan of white, and imo, this is the most appealing white case there is.
Mostly that it is unremarkable in every regard I listed, as well as the ones you mention! I personally think it's hideous, but to each their own.

But I'm not here to judge you (just cases) - it's really a question of what you would like to get out of a case that you're not getting from the Stryker. If it's tempered glass and lower noise, the H500 will do that, but there are certainly better options in both those terms and others. But maybe you value a certain aesthetic and are willing to live with the concessions that this case makes in favor - beats me smile.gif If there's some performance characteristic you are looking for I'd be happy to do my best to advise, but anything subjective is up to you smile.gif

Edit: If you like white and want glass and RGB I'd suggest looking at the Alpha 550 or the AI Crystal series. In-Win 303 and h700i are options too (maybe not white enough smile.gif)

I removed the two -200mm fans and installed 3 140mm Corsair ML fans as intake. Also installed 3 -140mm ML fans on top as exhaust. Corsair 140mm AIO installed in the rear set to exhaust. All settings in bios at silent mode. My two EVGA 1080 Ti Black SC temps are no more than 50c at full load. CPU at 4ghz. temps at 40c. full load. Now this rig runs as cool as I wanted, and even more quiet than I anticipated. I can game for hours with NO heat or other issues and SUPER quiet. All fans used are Corsair 140mm ML including the rad fan on the AIO. Finally. I'm very happy with this case.

are you locking your fps at 60 or something as 50c for an air cooled 1080ti under full 99% load in SLI is almost to good to be true

Yes, my frames are at 60. My monitor is a 34" ultra wide at 3440x1440. The monitor is only 60hz and I don't see any difference in gaming in any way. All games are running smooth as butter. Arma 3, Wolfenstein 11, Borderlands TPS, IL 2 Sturmovik series including Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Moscow etc. Flight sims like the IL2 series are very very demanding, but they too run like butter. I'm happy.

ah that would make sense why your cards are running so frosty at full load I don't play above my monitors refresh rate either just was trying to find out if you either lived in a fridge or had the GPUs when under load at a much lower load aka locking fps
