Threadripper 1950X

Asus Zenith Extreme

Team Group Nighthawk 3200MHz CL16-18-18-36, 64GB, 16GB sticks, dual rank, Samsung B die

960 Pro x2

RX Vega 64 x2

EVGA Platinum 850w (MB)

EVGA Platinum 1200w (GPU)

W10Pro

I can post in triple channel, even at rated speed. It is not the Dimm as I have changed them all out.

I had this exact set up including same memory and MB post 3066 quad with zero tweaking, just set it to DCOP 3066, but different processor. It would not post at 3200.

Suggestions?

Increase VDIMM to 1.38V or 1.4V if you haven't

Manually set memory timings looser

Increase SOC to 1.1V

Thanks.

I tried what you suggested. Even up to 1.2 SOC and to 1.4 on ram. No dice.

I was going to re and re the CPU. Upon removal I saw a couple slightly bent pins. May be the culprit. MB is off for repairs.

Don't know how that happened, Threadripper is so easy to install. Watch those pins....
