Guys here did not recomend me M.2, I also read they need extra cooling. This is actually my first time getting an SSD at all, as you can read from the thread I thought that I dont need it at all... Guy did push it on me haha

Realistically, stick with a cheap 240GB SSD, I personally run all of my games off of an HDD and there's virtually no difference, minus a couple of seconds shaved off of the initial loading times.... I gave my other SSD to my girl because of that fact.... SSD for the OS, and HDDs for everything else.... There is no good sense in lowering your overall storage amount just to gain a tiny bit of faster storage - especially when there's a budget involved, and 240GB of SSD costs the same as 1TB of HDD....To put things in perspective: I have about 12TB in HDDs and 240GB in SSD.... thumb.gif

I put a fan in every place that there's space for one in my own case, just try to set it up like a wind tunnel - intake through the front, exhaust through the back....Whether or not you put an optical drive in is totally up to you, but I haven't really needed one for my own purposes for a few years now - though this requires that you at least keep an OS on a flash drive just in case you need to reinstall or run a fix on the OS....

Hahah I see I see. Up to you -- you should probably keep the 2 TB if you need storage space.

I see I see. I don't know that much about them other than the speed so perhaps stick with a standard 2.5" SSD.

Shoul I put a fan on the bottom of the case for intake?

Im worried that the cube box will be too big... , maybe I should change it back to fractal design define r5? Also, watched some reviews and the corsair 740 aint got no dust filters at the bottom...

P.S. And here I am having last moment doubts

I'd stick with the 740 personally.... Dust filters can always be added, if needed. They're not a "make or break", for me at least. As for whether or not you should put a fan in the bottom, that's also something that can be added if needed. If your rig cools well, then don't put it in. If you end up needing some more intake, then add one. In my PC, that's where the radiator for the AIO on my video card is. thumb.gif

It happened so that because of holidays the shops were closed. So I'am making an order of parts tomorrow. I just want to confirm something... The mobo ive chose is this https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z370-GAMING-M5.html
And Ive noticed there is some special technology for M.2 SSDs? If I understood it right...
And the SSD ive chose is Sata 3 i think... Would I get alot of benefit if I get an M2? or it doesnt worth the money?

M.2 SATA3 = 2.5" SATA3
There is no performance advantage there. Just compact, and no need for wires.

My M.2 SATA3 ssd was cheaper than the 2.5" version... I'm happy with it.

You might be thinking of the NVMe protocol when you said special technology
And no its not faster or better then AHCI in any way out in the real world so keep your 2,5 inch SATA SSD
