I'm using synapse since 2015, for deathadder chroma & Surround pro, no issues faced till date.

Thanks for the feed back, I guess I'll find out.
I am going to order one, my Roccat Kone XTD is double clicking and driving me nuts.
I hope the Death Adder lasts as long !

If someone is using this and can shed more light on how this works it'd be much appreciated!

TRUE we actually need a confirmed Lancehead owner here to tell it straight to us. Of course I am NOT interested in those who simply conclude Synapse has done nothing wrong on their PC's.

You can actually use loads of other NON-made Razer mice models out there that will never require permanent software installs to work with their settings. This is what turns me into a rabid Razer-hater for this type of complete ignorance to it's customers. Almost treating them like idiot voters and always supplying lame propaganda telling them that everything is fine and super, when all you want to know is the basic TRUTH.

Why is that impossible now for even the Corporate's to understand that?

Razer Basilisk and Lancehead TE/Wireless have on-board memory.

So no need to have Synapse installed at all and you still keep all your own customized settings?

Out of interest here, how much memory is on these mouse models - 32kb, 64kb, 128kb or 256kb?

Maybe I'm slow but I have a DA:E and no longer have Synapse installed but it still retains 400dpi, 1000hz and custom lighting. Ofcourse the Razer HID driver is still installed but unless I'm wrong that's all that is required to maintain settings? Obviously I cannot pick up the mouse and take it to another computer without reinstalling Synapse but it doesn't seem like that big a deal.

if I plug in my DAE there is just saved the Pollingrate and the Light settings , nothing else ...
need to install synapse or synapse tournament driver to have my cpi steps ...
edit:
just checked it 5min ago

Garbage? I like how small it is. Wish the Lancehead TE was lighter. Sometimes I’m tempted to pick up a Deathadder Elite... 98g? Same as the Copperhead. Wish it was 88g.
