best ac1750 router 150 or less? i allready have a tplink it has issues so dont mention that 1
Apologies for the delay there.... According to the list of supported devices, the R6400 is supported.
I can't really speak about the R6400's performance, as I haven't personally used it....
Both of the Asus routers can run DDWRT as well: https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-AC66U
I can name one, the Netgear R6300 v2.... Hehehe....Plus, there are numerous features that I gained, and WPS is just gone - which is what I want.Originally Posted by DzillaXx
You don't run 3rd party firmware if stability or wireless performance is important to you.
I can't name a single wireless AC Box that performs better on DD-WRT/Tomato than Stock wireless wise.
Wireless N gear never had this problem.
Honestly Not sure what is wrong with your TP-Link, but Load DD-WRT or Tomato onto it and turn the wifi side off and just use it as a Wired Router. Get a Ubiquiti AP unit, and live the good life of having commercial grade hardware powering your Wireless Setup. You are not going to get this kind of reliability from Asus, Netgear, TP-Link, Linksys, D-Link, etc.

I use the R6300v2 and a R6400 for my homes wifi, with an Untangled Router.
