Hello I have had my SMA8 for quite some time and have really regretted not picking up an STH10 instead, looking around I was wondering what all would be required to make the change. I have gone through the website and I think found it all but I want some clarification if possible before placing my order.

Thank you for making a case that makes a person not ever have to look for another case lol. .....

I think you should email CL directly, thy would know without giving you the wrong advice, I'm sure that's why you not getting any answers here I don't think anyone would want to lead you the wrong direction.

FYI.
I have 4 cases now... SM8, SMA8, SMH10 and STH10 they all great cases and have purpose in my use, but I have to admit...STH10 all the way, its still my favorite

Are you attempting to convert the SMA8 into a STH10?

Hey Jake, Yea that is my attempt if possible and price wise not to much I thought I had looked into it awhile back and they said it would be cheaper to sell my case and purchase a new one but when I was looking at your information on the site I wasn't for sure if I was over looking small things that could be different.

Shoot me a message at jake@caselabs.net and I'll see what all you need. My guess is that you won't save much between doing this and just selling the case and getting a new one, but I'm happy to confirm one way or the other

While I like my STH10, I still think the SMA8 does have its place. If you are only going with 1-2 GPUs and a Ryzen CPU on water, the STH10 is over kill. Unless you have a mod or unique setup, you'll have a lot of unused space. The aesthetic of SMA8 I think works better for a Ryzen system with 1-2 1080(Ti)s and water. There is simply not enough heat generated to use the extra space for the radiators.I was able to keep mine cool just with the rear fan only on air.

I don't know why you mentioning Ryzen there are a lot of bigger dawgs out there that need more cooling lol....

I have a 7900x@4.7 and 2ea 1080ti in SLI with OC and radiator I am running 480 for cpu and 560+280 for GPUs. Want the STH10 because of the added top room I want to use for fill ports and put PSU up there.
