My build so far

Thread Starter
I have been transitioning into a 2017 Build in anticipation of Coffee Lake. It is mostly done now aside from the CPU, MOBO, RAM and Case Lighting...An I5 4690k and Asus Hero 7 are currently holding down the fort for the new guys... The plan so far is to go with the new I7 and an Asus Z370E board... Ram is still a question mark... I currently have EVGA Dims from 2014 they do have a low heat spreader on them which cut it really close with the X62 so I will be needing low profile RAM for the build, who is leading the RAM market these days? And Any recommendations for case lighting? I was checking out the Phanteks Asus Aura compatible kits which should work out pretty well for this rig I think since they have a combo kit that does RGB and White... New Cablemod cables and Kraken went in today... thumb.gif

RAM is RAM. Just get the most affordable kit you can that claims it can be run at 3000 MHz. I would get a 2x8GB kit. Kingston, G. Skill, Mushkin, Corsair, Crucial, etc. all have good options.
