Updates coming soon. I changed out the frozenq res for an XSPC one and leak testing is completed. Here's a couple cell phone pics for now. I'll have more pictures up tomorrow or Friday.

Wow that UV tubing sure looks amazing. Came out well.

How do you like the Silverstone fan hub? Does the PWM on it work well?

I've got 53 watts of fans to control, lol

Thanks! I'm digging it. I think I may add UV dye to the coolant to brighten up the res a bit.

Silverstone fan hub works well. Just remember that a fan has to be plugged into the connection on the "shiny" corner. Apparently that's the lead connection that actually controls the other fans.

Another option is the HAMP (high amp) fan header on the board. It'll handle up to 3 amps worth of fans. I have my front three fans connected to a splitter all going into that header. No extra power required. The 120mm Silent Wings only draw .16A, so I could theoretically run almost all my fans off that header if I wanted.

Good info on the hub. Each of my fans draws 0.55A so I could put up to 5 of them on the high amp header. It might help some with cable management to use splitters up front.

I think an all glass and metal look in this case would of looked amazing. I appreciate all the info you've shared about the case in this thread

Like the Alpha Series? wink.gif

Those do look nice as well, but I think with a case this large, the added glass would've made it super heavy, more expensive, and cable management harder. I'm still impressed by the tempered glass side every time I walk into the room and see this case though. Only things I would've liked to seen is better dust filter coverage and a vertical GPU mount. Otherwise I've been pretty happy with it. The snap on rivet panels are super convenient as well, which would have been given up with more glass panels.

I meant loop components. I bought this case, I haven't began working on it yet as I don't feel to migrate just yet. I got 2 heatkiller reservoirs which I feel have the shape and look that is fitting for this case. In terms of the loop, I will be doing acrylic and fittings, to keep that glass and metal look.

Stage 3 - Water Cooling

So, I've been promising pics from the end of the build and just got around to them, sorry smile.gif

I cleaned the rads out with Mayhems Part 1 and, with the exception of being a bit blue (the color of oxidized copper), both came out super clean with no little bits to be found. Way to go XSPC and Hardware Labs!

To my surprise, the middle bar where the glass panel rests can be easily removed for better access when installing a radiator. The constant removing of the glass panel takes its toll on the paint, but luckily this is a part of the case that's not seen when everything is put together.

The XSPC RX480 V3 + Silent Wings 3 + Phanteks Halos = 87mm. Lian-Li's specs of 90mm for rads is pretty spot on.

XSPC Razor RGB Block

Got some Cablemod combs for my EVGA wires. EVGA oddly has 26 wires for their 24 pin connector which is why you see lots of crossover.

Decided on an XSPC Reservoir. Had some issues with FrozenQ. As a product and as a company. The XSPC is nicely built. Eventhough this is a version 2, the fill port design will still make it slower to fill, but for the price, it was an ok tradeoff.

XSPC Raystorm NEO TR4 Block

AquaComputer High Flow Meter. Discovered the water flow header on my board isn't reading RPM from this, but it works in a regular fan header. Hoping it's just a bug in the beta BIOS I'm on as I really don't feel like taking this all apart to RMA it.biggrin.gif

Nemesis 360 GTS at the top. I know it was asked why I decided for the GTS at the top instead of something thicker. While a thicker rad will technically fit, it will limit or cut off your access to the top passthroughs. I opted for a thinner rad because the 480 could already handle current components by itself and I wanted to be able to access everything easily.

Drain port on a rotary 90-degree fitting so I can move it down when I need it. Has a T-valve with a quick disconnect attached for easy access. Works really well. It's also why my rad is shifted right of center. This was probably the toughest thing to fit in the entire case.

Leak tested and ran Mayhems part 2 for 24 hours before flushing and adding coolant. No leaks thumb.gif. Here's the final product:

Have been working on overclocking the past few days. So far up to 4.05 Ghz with Memory at 3200 CAS14. Load temps haven't exceeded 66 and fans are running at 800-900 rpm. Super silent. Hoping to be able to push this up to at least 4.1.

Wow, just WOW!

I'm on the fence about this case. I currently have a Phanteks Evolv and it's choking my system having such poor airflow.

I initially decided on the Phanteks Enthoo Primo but after seeing this... Can you help me justify the extra £200!?
