From ~0.24 points/sec to over 0.5 points/sec. Over double! There are other tweaks as well with the command line options but I'll try this for now.

Nice!! I am flashing my 290s right now, but once I'm done with that I will load it up as well. :thumb:

With 116 tasks verified after the change last night the points/second went from 0.24 to 0.56 or 2.333 times the RAC

Started wcg and seti on most of my machines. I bailed on tn-grid because I have no chance maintaining my lead with gridcoin on my heals.

Uh oh, my piece of the pie is going to get a lot smaller.

Make sure to install Lunatics for Windows and TBar's setup for Linux. Night and day performance increases for SETI.

Will be throwing my 1070s back at SETI tomorrow.  @mmonnin anything special, other than adding the necessary files, to do for running the Linux optimized apps?

I downloaded the 3 files here and unzipped it to the SETI folder I already had setup. Just the files in the projects folder. Copy/paste and I started getting the cuda80 tasks. Twice as fast as the SoG tasks I was getting from the copied Lunatics installer setup from my windows PC when I had my 1070 over there. I didn't do any more modifications to the cmd line files so there's probably some more tweaks available still.

POTM Update

World Community Grid

Start: 68 - Goal: 67 - Currently: 67  |  Goal achieved, and it looks like we can snag one more spot before the month is over. :wheee:

Cosmology@Home

Start: 25 - Goal: 23 - Currently: 25   |  We are gaining on the teams in front of us, but at our current pace, we won't move up until the start of November.

SETI@home

Start: 119  - Goal: 114 - Currently: 118  |  We have moved up, and with a bit more GPU power we can still gain a few more spots before the end of the month. :thumb:

17 valid results running the optimized app on my 1070, and I am seeing the same increase in performance. Stock app was right at .31 points/second, and the optimized app is at .7 points/second. :wheee:

What are your clocks? X server isn't changing the clocks on my 1070. It's stuck at 1962 at mid 50c. I can up the power limit but clocks stay the same. frown.gif
