Crucial MX300 2TB in raid 0 on a alienware 18x r2 QUESTIONS

Thread Starter
I have some questions and thank you in advance for all your time.
I own a Alienware 18 r2 that i bought new and it runs on window 7. My rig came with a 500mb ssd and 16 gig of ram 1866mhz and a gtx 660m card. all these years never had a problem with it.
I do photo and video editing and my hard drive is always full. event with my external hard drive that i keep everything on running in raid1. So i just bought 2 crucial 300 2tb ssds. My plan is to run them in raid 0. What are your thought about that?

Do i need to upgrade to windows 10? If so is window 10 PRO a better choice?

What are your thoughts?
