Hi all.
Yet another 900D build, hope it turns out good looking one.
This is a client build, the idea was to have two different loops with vivid, contrast colours, uv reactive preferred.

part list

i7 7700k with Watercool Heatkiller IV pro acryl edition block
2x 1080ti with Watercool Heatkiller acetal block
Gigabyte Z270x Ultra Gaming motherboard
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16gb ram
250gb SK Hynix Canvas SSD
Toshiba 2TB SSHD
Corsair RM1000x PSU

2x DDC pump with Alphacool acetal top
2x Alphacool 25 pro lt res
2x EK SE480 rad
Alphacool chrome fittings+ Alphacool 13mm acrylic tube
8x Raijintek Aura 12 fan
3x Noctua Redux NF-S12B fan

here it is then:

removed all the unnecessary bits:

ah, much better after "cleaning"

quick check if everything works

as not all watercooling parts arrived yet I started working on sleeving cables, not something you start a build from really

time for cutting some panels

this little piece of kit is pretty awesome for acrylic, cuts are very clean and sharp, my favourite toy lately

pretty happy with these cuts

but does it fit??

now, these are incredibly beautiful, quality is exceptional too

CNC machines are pretty good at Watercool, these fins are fine

panels painted

finished build!

I'm also currently building in a 900D i've had sitting around forever...Painted it "Hammered black" which looks like a nice dark gunmetal grey....I made a middle floor out of sheet metal but DAMN! Looking at that acrylic piece is making me go to the Home Depot today and grab one. Looks so clean.

update

The build is finished now!!
Customer asked for as much tubing visible and exposed as possible while keeping it balanced between both loops. That pretty much gave me no other option but run one of the gpus in wrong direction. Bottom gpu is running opposite flow direction to what Watercool recommends. I have done excessive testing and found no drawbacks of doing so; max temp for top gpu is 46 deg, bottom 43 deg, also no visible loss in flow(DDC pump), one EK SE480 rad.
The initial idea of having two very vivid and contrasting loops has been achieved imo. I wasn't too sure about colours at the beginning but must say it looks quite crisp and eye catching. The customer is very pleased by the finished look of it and that what really counts. It was a great fun to build this, 900D is a very capable case, Watercool blocks look stunning, Alphacool reservoirs, tubing and fittings are awesome to work with and Mayhems dyes are absolute top class.
Thx for looking, hope you like it:)
Would love to hear any comments
