This club has been made for those looking to buy D2 on PC and would like to discuss the new game. I also created a club for anyone to join so that we can team up on firestrike teams and do quests etc. Also if everyone joins the clan, more XP for everyone!
What is it?
Destiny 2 is the sequel to Bungie's slow-burning hit of 2014, which makes it kind of a big deal. In the event that you've been MIA for the past three years, Destiny is an action shooter with RPG elements created by the all-star Bungie team responsible for Halo. It overcame middling reviews and draw a huge fan base thanks to its robust loot system, fun combat and excellent competitive and cooperative multiplayer modes.
I have never played the first one, but was sort of excited about playing this one. Still haven't decided if I should pre-order or just wait a few months to pick it up.
I have my physical special edition on preorder and should get it on release day. im really excited.
finally get destiny on pc. where it seemed like it belonged all along.
I can't wait for it on pc after playing on xbox. I've yet to do all my challenges including leviathan raid and also hoping it looks and runs nicer on pc at 1440p and on an ssd. Xbox takes ages to load.
But my bnet is bwalker#1424. I will probably play hunter, I have a titan on ps4. The most recent trailer looks significantly better than ps4 and the beta did too. I'm excited.
I pre-ordered from Amazon since they give 20% off to Prime members on new games. Recently received an email saying they were shipping the game a day earlier.

I ordered it from thegamecollection for ÂŁ36 but it comes with a destiny 2 bottle opener that goes for up to ÂŁ10 on eBay. So hopefully making the game ~ÂŁ26.
Edit: Re the clan, I will create us an OCN clan when the game is out and then invite everyone.

I was excited too, but after speaking with my console friends I cancelled my pre-order. Maybe I'll buy it if there's a GOTY or discount in a year or so.
They say they've already run out of content and it doesn't seem fun anymore. They could be completely wrong, but I think I'm going to wait a while personally.
I also wish I had more time to put into a game like this, but I've not been able to sit down and play anything for more than an hour or two a week. Shame, since this would have filled my interest in games like The Division.
battle.net name is similar to your steam or origin username. Its most likely going to be how we have to invite each other. Battle.net is blizzards launcher app that you will need to install and launch destiny 2.
Discord is simply a free communication platform. It will allow us to create multiple voice channels for different fireteams and such as well as text channels to just chat in. Sharing a public server with limited channel control may be difficult for a game like destiny
I will set up the discord, just not sure If i'm allowed to put the OCN tag on it?
Unfortunately you cannot advertise or post a link to discord or any other chat server/channel (text or VOIP).
This is due to past events with chat servers/channels outside of our control being linked to OCN.
As already posted OCN has a TS3 server that can be used.
