Microsoft Classic Intellimouse 3,200 dpi (2017) - Page 35

So, I didn't have this problem with my Intellimouse. I installed the drivers from the Windows site and adjusted the DPI down to 400 ( what I standard at in CS:GO ). I deathmatched for around 3 hours with it last night to get used to it, and did not have the sensor tweak out on me once. Although I did accidentally jump a few times from not being used to the sensitive scroll wheel, and I also did under-aim at a few people as the lift off distance was different than my previous mouse (roccat Kone also a G402).

That being said I'm an awper and I primarily whip the mouse left and right extremely fast, and the sensor didn't tweak out on me once. It also didn't mess up on me playing quake later that night, or KZ mapping this morning in CSGO.

I'll throw it out here that I'm using a hardpad (Razer Firefly) and 400 dpi 2.7 sens ingame.

Ok, so what is the max speed? Apparently 4m/s but also apparently after weak flicks.

im going to try the mouse out after work today to see if it spins out like people have said it does. I also have a ime 3.0 and imo 1.1 se to compare it with.

That's true, it's not that easy but you know, Microsoft is so lazy at innovating so I thought why not just at least go for the easy way? After all they couldn't work together with STMicro on the development of the MLT04.. damn, that company would still be here successfully competing with Pixart in the mouse sensor market.

Actually, 2.7 in the MLT04 is a high sensitivity, that'd be like 2.9 on a 3310, so it's usable considering u overclock it to at least 500hz and lower the video resolution. I don't know how comparable is this MS Classic Intellimouse's sensor to a (FM2015SE) 3310 which I'm using right now but it should still be fine at flicks and 180º's with a 2.5 in-game sensitivity and 400dpi.

So just to be safe, I'd say if anybody here play CSGO with 2.4 sensitivity or less on 400dpi.. or better explained for other FPS', if you need 43.4 centimeters or more to do a 360º / 17" or more to do a 360º, you better stay away from this new Intellimouse unless you love the shape so much and want to install a 3360 like user mantorker specool.gif

I need 43.4cm/360 and I can play with a Kinzu, which has a max tracking speed of 1.7m/s, but I also play with accel so...shrug.

Oh, haven't you felt like pixel skipping or whatever that is? I mean, at 400dpi @1024x768 and for example 2 sensitivity Idon't feel it but if I change to 1920x1080 it is so noticeable.

Well, maybe you know you don't have to move your arm so fast. People could get used to that aswell, human brain is interesting

Yes, that's what's happening then.
