Corsair SP120 High Static Pressure fans

Thread Starter
I just ordered 2 Corsair SP120 High Static Pressure LED fans for my ATX case. My case (Corsair Carbide Spec-02) will hold 6 case fans but I don't plan to use that many unless I absolutely have to. My question is where I should put these two for the best result, if it will even make a difference. From an aesthetic standpoint, I'd like to mount both of them on the top to hopefully add a little more red glow through the glass and I feel that one red LED fan on the front is good looking enough. However, I'm far more interested in airflow than looks. If two on the front and one on top would be better, I'll do that. What do you think?

You always want a positive pressure environment in your case. Meaning you want more intake air flow than exhaust. Keep it positive or at least neutral and you will be fine.

Probably both in the front (intake). If you have any other fans, but one in the rear (exhaust) and the rest on top (exhaust). EDIT: but make sure it keep positive, like the person above me mentioned.

This will give you the wind tunnel effect (front to back) that's best to keep your hardware cool.

Then that's what I'll do. I'll mount the two new fans on the front (so I'll have a matching pair) and move the current fan to the top. Thank you!
