[JokerProductions] Massive Framerate Boost for RX Vega56 with FCU (Fall Creator's Updated) - Page 5

Seems like an odd result from just an MS update to win10 and nothing from the manufacturer. Anyone try with Vulkan?

No it's not, I too noticed an improvement in Forza 7 with Fury

All maxed at 1440p, 2x AA, no blur
From start to finish. Using the Porche, demo

Average framerate : 101.4 FPS
Minimum framerate : 71.8 FPS
Maximum framerate : 143.5 FPS

After FCU
All maxed at 1440p, 2x AA, no blur
From start to finish. Using the Porche, demo

19-10-2017, 23:58:19 ForzaMotorsport7.exe benchmark completed, 40836 frames rendered in 365.406 s
Average framerate : 111.7 FPS
Minimum framerate : 77.3 FPS

Game Bar seems finicky at times. In some games it opens and I can enable Game Mode fine. In others when I press the Game Bar hotkey it just flashes my screen white twice and doesn't do anything else.

I assume this improvement is only evident if the game DVR bar thing is enabled and you tick game mode? Also colors in fullscreen are broken again, ffs.

You need to go to window mode to enable the game mode in the game in full screen in most games the screen just flashes, but they should fix that. Anyway I've noticed improvements in Evil Within 2 and BF1 I have Ryzen 7 and 1080 Ti around 10% performance increase in both games with game mode on. The more interesting thing is that in BF1 the minimum fps increased a lot and I don't have any drops at all. I don't know what it does but it sure helps smile.gif

My game mode button isnt even there :/

Need more benchmarks from more reliable websites/youtubers with wider range of hardware.

EDIT: I see some people talking about game mode, that's just for low end PCs. Makes virtually no difference on medium-high end rigs.
